This Privacy page explains what Perfectstory collects through the public website and private beta app, how that information is used, and who can access it.
Invite requests
When you request an invite or contact us, we collect the name, email, role, and message you submit. Those messages are sent by email to inquiry@prefectstory.co for manual review and are not used to automatically create accounts.
App account data
If you are invited into the app, authentication is handled by Supabase. Perfectstory keeps a local app profile connected to your authenticated user id so the product can show your workspace, preferences, notifications, and projects.
Writing content
The app stores screenplay projects, scenes, notes, diagnostics feedback, rewrite tasks, and related metadata so you can use the writing workspace. Perfectstory processes that content to provide product features such as Doctor diagnostics, draft readiness, rewrite workflows, saving, and support.
Service providers
Perfectstory uses service providers such as Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure, and Resend for website inquiry email delivery. These providers process information only as needed for those services.
Product improvement
Beta feedback and usage patterns may be used to improve the product, diagnose bugs, and prioritize workflow changes. Perfectstory should not be used as a confidential submission system during beta.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit an invite request or not to upload sensitive writing material. To ask about your information, contact inquiry@prefectstory.co.
Security
Perfectstory uses access controls and private app routes to protect account data, but no beta system can be guaranteed to be error-free or continuously available.
